DAY 1: Today is arrival day. We will collect you from the airport and transfer you to our tranquil green oasis in the centre of Ubud town. Then all you need to do is unpack and relax.
DAY 2:  Today is all about immersing ourselves in the traditional life of Bali.  We spend the day with a local family learning about how family, community, religion and village life all come together to make Bali such a special place. Take a tour of the village and local temple, explore the market for ingredients before learning how to cook traditional Balinese cuisine.
DAY 3: This morning we take a class to learn about the natural dyes used in Indonesian textiles and try our hand at the batik methods of stamping and canting. We spend the afternoon taking a fun interactive seminar to learn about the different textiles of Indonesia and their roles in life and religion.
DAY 4: Today we take a walk through the rice paddies and learn all about traditional Balinese herbs and plants and spend some time making our own botanical creams and lotions.
DAY 5:  Today is totally hands-on when we spend the day learning some of Bali’s crafts.  Take your choice of any 2 classes from batik painting, traditional painting, wood or mask carving, lotar or bamboo weaving.
DAY 6:Today we take a field trip to Eastern Bali, where we explore the local market for traditional batiks and fabrics and learn about the ancient and sacred art of double ikat weaving at a traditional Bali Aga village.
DAY 7: This morning we try our hand at silver jewellery making. This afternoon there is an option to take a trip down to explore the fabric shops of Denpasar.  We get together tonight to say our farewells to beautiful Bali.
DAY 8: Your tour finishes this morning after breakfast and your transfer down to Denpasar airport.
