11 Day Tour

This great tour provides you with a wide range of activities and opportunities to explore the true spirit of modern and ancient Khmer culture. This tour provides a fantastic balance of visits to rural villages and markets, the modern centres of Phnom Penh and Siem Reap along with some time to relax on the beach.  The tour also provides the opportunity to try your hand at Khmer cooking, sample traditional dishes and explore the traditional crafts and textiles of this ancient culture.  The standard itinerary can be changed to fit with your interests.

Days 1 – 3
Take an escorted tour of the Wat Phnom pagoda, Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda complex, the National Museum  and explore the Russian and Olympic markets. On Day 3 of your tour you have a choice of 2 destinations - Option 1:  Head south to the Takeo province where there is the opportunity to visit  local weaving villages set amidst the rice fields. Option 2: Head north to the Kandal province and visit the ancient capital of Udong. There’s also the opportunity to stop off at local silver villages set along the river.

Days 4 & 5:
You depart Phnom Penh for the southern coast of Cambodia on the morning tourist coach service for the relaxed haven of Sihanoukville. Your time here can be spent relaxing and enjoying the beach or spent exploring some of the many islands off the coast. You may also like to take a tour to the beautiful Bakor National Park.

Days 6 - 11:
You leave the beach on the morning of Day 6 and take a journey through the heart of the Cambodia to Siem Reap. Over the next couple of days you experience the amazing ancient temples of Angkor with your own private guide.There is an opportunity to take a tour of the floating villages of the TonleSap Lake,  take a Khmer cooking class, a tour of the Senteurs d Angkor project, visit a unique local orphanage and vocational training centre and the Artisans d’Angkor Silk Farm. Your tour comes to an end after breakfast on Day 11.
