The itineraries on offer can be modified to meet curriculum focus and the specific needs and travel requirements of your group. Tours provide a mix of site seeing and cultural activities including hands-on lessons to support the learning experience and promote a greater appreciation and understanding of local traditions. Group sizes can range from 6 to 20 participants.

TEXTILES OF CAMBODIA 9 Days
This tour takes you from the bustling city sites and fabric markets of Phnom Penh to the weaving communities of Takeo, Koh Dach, Kampong Cham and Kampong Thom and onto Siem Reap, the gateway to the awe inspiring temples of Angkor and an emerging textiles scene where natural dyes & traditional weaving methods are being revived. You'll visit rural weaving projects established to train young women in Khmer silk weaving, spend the afternoon at a project run by Buddhist monks and take a natural dyes class at a unique forest project set up to revive the natural vegetation needed to make traditional dyes. You'll be inspired by the amazing temples of Angkor and the beauty of the Cambodian countryside as you travel overland from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap. |
