Day 1 Arrival Day
We will collect you from the airport anytime your arrive. The day is free to relax and explore the villa's ground or maybe head into Ubud down via the hotel's free shuttle bus.
Today we spend a fascinating morning at the Threads of Life organisation learning all about the textiles of Bali and Indonesia. This afternoon we try our hand at silver jewellery making.
Today we head out into the fields and villages of eastern Bali. We visit the rice paddies and villages of the area including where Songket, ikat's and the sacred double ikats are woven by hand using ancient methods. We end our day at the beach town of Sanur.
Your time in Bali comes to an end today with a morning to explore the beach and markets of Sanur before catching your flight home.
This morning you get an insight into what makes Balinese so special with a visit to the morning food markets followed by a fabulous morning learning all about Bali's food traditions and how they make their daily offerings. We spend the afternoon with a group of local women learning about their beading techniques.
Today is a really fun day as we all try our hand at batik painting. With plenty of professional artists at hand to help out everyone has the chance to create something they will treasure.
This morning we head into Denpasar city to explore the markets and the fabulous Sulewasi which is the home to hundreds of fabric shops. The afternoon is free for you to relax and explore Sanur beach.
